by RICHARD HARRIS
May Archer, an elderly widow, is entertaining in her London semi. Not your normal party, however, as all her guests are in fact salespeople who are setting out to persuade her to put her money their way. May’s inability to wrench her eyes from the TV – and her lack of interest in any of the products – looks set to wreck their hopes. This madcap comedy comes to a rousing conclusion when May saves the day with a clever scheme that leaves everyone satisfied.
Tickets priced at £6 are available from 023 8069 3032, via the Bishopstoke Players’ website www.bishopstokeplayers.org or at the door, and all proceeds are, as always, donated to Action for Children.
